:Kid Cudi for Calvin Klein

If you haven't seen already the photos that leaked out this was shot at the end of last year, and honestly i can't give a solid opinion on it. I will say "Cudi, your awesome.. I like your look, you look like a rapper.. but maybe not so much for Calvin Klein.. this just doesn't seem to fit with their brand image.. you always see the weird macho guys in their skiviess (mark wahlberg. eek).. this kinda threw me off. Anyone know if they went on and actually published it?

Thanks to LizzKuehl.com for pictures and also Rapradar.com

:New music: Glasvegas! & Bonnaroo 2010 line-up

GLASVEGAS:

The band's original line-up came together in late 2003, comprising James Allan on vocals and guitar, his cousin Rab Allan on guitar, Paul Donoghue on bass guitar, and Ryan Ross on drums. They toured intermittently from 2003 to 2005 around Scotland, releasing a limited edition double A-side single, "I'm Gonna Get Stabbed"/"Ina Lvs Rab" on CD in May 2004.[1] Ryan Ross left the group in late 2004 to go to the USA. In December 2005, the band asked Caroline McKay to be their drummer. A notable early supporter of the band was Alan McGee.[2] On 30 October 2006, the band released a self-funded limited edition 7" single, "Go Square Go!."

Glasvegas are:

Glasvegas' debut album is being released on 8th September to huge critical acclaim seemingly only shortly after initial interest from their MySpace Demos and Alan McGee's blogs about the band. The self-titled album was co-produced by James Allan & Rich Costey (also worked with Franz Ferdinand, Interpol, Muse) and recorded in New York.

The winners of the 2008 NME 'Philip Hall Radar Award' for most promising new band, they've released two hit singles from the album in Geraldine and Daddy's Gone and were a must-see band at this year's Glastonbury, T In The Park, Latitude, Underage and Reading/Leeds.

The band play their largest headline shows to date in the UK in November/December which will coincide with a special Christmas release.

Supporting the OKIES.

So as you all know from my past blogs my two obsession would have to be apparel and music, so why not blog about a group that hits close to home and has awesome potential!

If you don't already know, Oklahoma based, Grpfly is a company based on a mission to make the best of the opportunity life can give.

Hip hop artist, Jabee has a great sound and the music is so positive. He just brings something different from your typical rap star. Be sure and check out his mix with Regina Specktor, "Breaks my heart".

Something else that give this company a little edge, Grpfly collaborates with apparel business as well, one of my good friends, Chris Cao, producer of screen-printing line, Blooprint, recently joined up with them and if the word gets out to enough people, this line of streetwear is here to stay! Check out their website for the blog and to shop at Grpfly.com

Oklahoma State University attendees: The OSU fashion show is in april and I recently became apart of the music team, I hope depending on the theme maybe to include Jabee in the playlist, be sure and mark your calenders.

: Fashion, Music, and Events for today

Event
Well I'll just go ahead and say the grammy's were spectacular. This was definitely Beyonce's night and she would be my big pick of the night, but I thought her gown just wasn't really wanting to fit her right ( Don't squeeze your bootylicious body girrll, dang)...Beyonce also set the record for the most awards given to a female performer in one night.  Now who I did actually choose for the pick of the night would have to be Keri Hilson. Keri wore this beautiful, mermaid Dolce and Gabbana gown. Soo Elegant.

P.S. Wait at least through the first minute, just keeps getting better and better.
